Job summary

DRW is seeking a Floor Trader candidate to participate in a comprehensive training program, gaining hands-on experience on the Cboe trading floor and DRW’s trading desk. You will learn market dynamics, build trading tools, and develop the skills to take on increasing responsibility in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with traders and brokers, exposure to both floor-based and voice trading, and a path toward higher ownership as you progress.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, mathematics, statistics, computer science or related field.
• Graduation expected between December 2026 and June 2027.
• Proficiency in Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a comprehensive training program to learn products, markets and trading approach.
• Split time between the Cboe trading floor and DRW’s trading desk.
• Gain exposure to floor-based and voice trading while building real-time analysis skills.
• Work with traders and brokers to understand market dynamics and improve tools.
• Analyze order flow, trading activity and broker behavior for patterns and opportunities.
• Develop, maintain and enhance tools, models, algorithms and systems for trading analysis and risk management.
• Take on increasing ownership of trading decisions and risk as knowledge grows.
