Old Mission, a global proprietary trading firm, is looking for a Floor Trader in Chicago to join our CBOE team. After completing a new-grad training program and working with seasoned traders, you’ll operate on the trading floor in an open outcry environment as part of a collaborative group using our pricing strategies.

The role demands quick decision-making under pressure, strong communication with upstairs traders and floor brokers, and a drive to continuously improve in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Ability to make quick decisions under pressure with incomplete information.
• Outgoing and easy to get along with.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and multi-tasking.
• Good risk management skills.

Responsibilities

• Verbally executing trades and building out our floor footprint.
• Communicate effectively with traders upstairs and other floor traders.
• Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with floor brokers.
