Job summary

Floor to Ceiling, a progressive interior design company, seeks an Interior Designer / Sales Professional in Mitchell, SD. You will work with clients in person, on the phone, and online to design spaces, present concepts, and upsell services. A 3–5 year background in interior design and a degree are preferred, with a path to leadership on client projects.

This full-time role offers a commission plan and benefits. Salary is hourly, $14–$20 based on experience, plus a benefits package.

Floor to Ceiling is a very progressive Interior Design Company specializing in all aspects of residential and commercial Interior Design and Sales. We carry flooring, kitchen, bath, window coverings, paint, countertop products, tile, shower systems, and many more items related to the residential and commercial spaces.

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic designer/ sales professional with a love for design and consumer-based selling. Experience with the 2020 program preferred and background in interior design desirable. We are passionate about our emphasis on making life beautiful and promoting small local businesses. We are looking for an energetic, independent, responsible, and detail oriented Interior Designer / Sales Professional to join our staff. This is a bustling full-time position. This position requires adaptability, independence, and experience in residential commercial interior design. We identify as a home & lifestyle brand and we aim to offer quality service and excellent design to clients near and far. We are looking for someone who has 3-5 years of experience in styling and interior design. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Interior Design, but we are willing train someone with a good work ethic and a great attitude.

Hourly rate will be $14-20 based on experience! We also offer commission, as well as a benefit package.

Ideal candidates should possess the following:

Duties & Responsibilities include the following:

• Work with walk-in, phone-in, and online clients in a consultative manner to understand their needs and provide guidance for best solution
• Schedule and Consult Clients to further identity design needs
• Travel on Site to Take Measurements / Photos, and up-sell customers
• Execute Floor Plans, Specs, and Schemes in line with the brand’s aesthetic according to client’s needs.
