Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Northwest North Carolina, Inc. is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain and clean floors across the building, ensuring safety and adherence to schedules.

The role supports the organization’s mission by keeping facilities clean and functional. The position requires at least one year of housekeeping experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and familiarity with industrial floor care machines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.
• At least one year of housekeeping experience in an industrial or office environment, preferably in a nursing home, hospital or assisted living facility.
• Experience with industrial floor care machines required.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily, weekly and monthly assigned area cleaning duties outside the facility to include trash pick-up, sweeping, etc.
• Utilizing industrial floor cleaning equipment.
• Setting up conference rooms according to layout plan.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Our Floor Technician maintains and cleans the floors in their assigned work areas efficiently and safely. This individual will maintain the floors in the building on an ongoing basis and in accordance with cleaning schedules.

Responsibilities

• Performing daily, weekly and monthly assigned area cleaning duties outside the facility to include trash pick-up, sweeping, etc.
• Utilizing industrial floor cleaning equipment.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Experience

At least one year of housekeeping experience in an industrial or office environment, preferably in a nursing home, hospital or assisted living facility. Experience with industrial floor care machines required.

Hours

Mon, Tues and Sat - 7:30am-4pm; Fri. 10:30am-7pm; Sun - 10:30am-6:30pm

Pay

$16.00 per hour
