Job summary

Clovernook is seeking a part-time Floor Tech to keep our facility spotless and safe in the Cincinnati area. You will perform comprehensive floor care, from sweeping and mopping to waxing and buffing, while ensuring resident spaces remain clean and safe.

The role requires operating floor machinery and adhering to infection control and PPE standards, with opportunities for growth and benefits through Clovernook.

Qualifications

• Experience in floor care, housekeeping, or environmental services preferred.
• Must be able to operate floor care machinery safely.
• Comfortable lifting and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff floors daily.
• Vacuum and spot-clean carpets in resident rooms and hallways.
• Operate floor equipment including buffers and auto-scrubbers.
• Move furniture to access and clean spaces efficiently.

Clovernook is a resident-centered long-term care community seeking a dedicated Full-Time Floor Tech to keep our facility spotless and safe. Make a real difference in resident care through top-notch floor maintenance!

Key Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff hard surface floors daily
• Vacuum and spot-clean carpets throughout resident rooms, hallways, and common areas
• Safely operate floor equipment including buffers, burnishers, auto-scrubbers, and vacuums
• Move furniture to clean and reset areas efficiently
• Follow strict infection control, safety protocols, and PPE standards
• Maintain equipment and report issues promptly
• Assist with general housekeeping and special deep-clean projects

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in floor care, housekeeping, or environmental services (healthcare a plus!)
• Comfortable operating floor care machinery
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs and stand/walk most of shift
• Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, safe spaces
