Job summary

The Mariemont Care Center in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our facility's floors, contributing to a safe and sanitary environment. You will perform routine floor maintenance, operate floor care equipment, and support other cleaning tasks as needed; training is provided and prior floor technician experience is welcome but not required.

• Previous experience as a Floor Technician or similar role preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, equipment, and products.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, bend, lift heavy objects, and operate floor care equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine floor maintenance tasks, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing floors.
• Stripping and waxing floors as needed to maintain a polished and professional appearance.
• Operate floor care equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet extractors safely and efficiently.
• Inspect floors for damage or wear and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE when performing floor care tasks.
• Assist with general cleaning duties in other areas of the facility as needed.
