Job summary

Clovernook is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Floor Tech to keep our facility spotless and safe for residents. You will perform daily floor care tasks, from sweeping and mopping to buffing and machine operation, in a compassionate, resident-centered environment.

This role offers a stable schedule, competitive pay based on experience, and benefits. A high school diploma or GED and ability to lift 50 lbs are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in floor care, housekeeping, or environmental services (healthcare a plus).
• Comfortable operating floor care machinery.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs and stand/walk most of shift.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, safe spaces.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, wax, and buff hard surface floors daily
• Vacuum and spot-clean carpets throughout resident rooms, hallways, and common areas
• Safely operate floor equipment including buffers, burnishers, auto-scrubbers, and vacuums
• Move furniture to clean and reset areas efficiently
• Follow strict infection control, safety protocols, and PPE standards
• Maintain equipment and report issues promptly
• Assist with general housekeeping and special deep-clean projects
