Job summary

Chimes DC Brand in Washington, DC is seeking a Floor Technician to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors and facilities in the evening shift. The role follows contract specifications, safety procedures, and security requirements, with a pay rate of $21.16 per hour and a schedule of Monday through Friday, 6:00 pm to 11:00 pm.

Responsibilities include stripping, sealing, waxing, cleaning carpets, sweeping, mopping, operating scrubbers and burnishers, handling chemicals safely, moving

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of floor technician or custodial experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and floor maintenance techniques is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly (75-100 lbs. with assistance).
• Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Assist with inventory and general custodial duties as needed.
• Follow all company, safety, and security policies.
