Job summary

Chimes in Washington, DC is seeking a dedicated cleaner to perform manual labor associated with daily cleaning and all aspects of maintaining all floor surfaces.

You will sweep, mop, vacuum, and detail edges, move furniture to access floors, mix chemicals, prepare and care for equipment, and conduct preventative maintenance checks on gear. Shift is Monday–Friday, 4:30pm–11:00pm; pay rate is $19.40 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all Agency policies and procedures and follow contract specifications
• Comply with uniform dress code and personal hygiene standards
• Clean all assigned areas in accordance with contract specifications
• Sweep, dust mop, and damp mop floors
• Use wet vacs and vacuums for carpets and tile
• Detail corners and edges
• Empty and clean machines after use
• Move furniture/equipment to gain access to floors
• Mix and measure chemicals
• Prepare, use, and care for equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance check on equipment before and after use
