We are hiring immediately for a full-time FLOOR TECHNICIAN position.

Location: HUP - CAM Building - 3400 Spruce Street, Philadelphia, PA 19104. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am. More details upon interview.

Requirement: Floor care, housekeeping, and customer service experience required.

Pay Range: $18.21 to $19.92 per hour.

Job Summary

Performs maintenance duties to support facility operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, and operate plant, mechanical areas, exterior grounds, and campus facilities.
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs; coordinate with supervisors and vendors as needed.
• Update work statuses and manage repair information using company systems.
• Support fleet maintenance, including welding, plumbing, electrical work, and vehicle troubleshooting.
• Assist in minor repairs and report major issues.
• Clean sidewalks, parking areas, and dispose of trash and debris.
• Operate electrical and gasoline-powered equipment.
• Maintain and repair equipment using hand and power tools.
• Perform minor carpentry, plumbing, painting, electrical work, and drywall maintenance.
• Respond to emergency repairs and perform emergency procedures.
• Maintain logs, perform rounds, and complete work orders and inspections.
• Read and transmit detailed instructions verbally and in writing.
• Serve as part of the emergency response team.
• Perform other assigned duties.

Qualifications

• One year of related maintenance or groundskeeping experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Working Conditions

• Exposure to heat, noise, dust, dirt, and infection control environments.
• Work hours include nights and weekends as needed to maintain facility safety and operations.
