Job summary

Compass Group is seeking a Floor Technician in North Little Rock, AR to perform floor maintenance and operate industrial floor care equipment. The role requires handling hard-surface floor tasks including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning and buffing, as well as carpet care and upholstery cleaning.

Typical full-time schedule with varied shifts; must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays. Competitive hourly pay range and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or similar role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures (stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, spray buffing).
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning (shampooing, damp cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Details

Location: 11500 Maybelline Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117.

Schedule: Full‑time. Typical shifts include Friday–Tuesday 7:00 am–3:30 pm, Friday, Monday, Tuesday 6:00 am–2:30 pm, and Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:30 pm. Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay Range: $16.00–$17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Maintain knowledge of principles of hard‑surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care, including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning large floor surfaces.
• Use proper procedures on carpet and upholstery, including shampooing, damp surface cleaning, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, and more.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in a related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
