Job Details

• We are hiring immediately for full-time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location: MercyOne Genesis West - 1401 W Central Park Avenue, Davenport, IA 52804. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm; Saturday and Sunday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am. Off every other weekend. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Experience preferred.
• Pay Rate: $16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

The Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions

• Knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilize automated equipment for large area floor cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery cleaning, including shampooing, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.
