Job Opening: Floor Technician

We have a full-time position available for a Floor Technician.

Location: Chesterfield - 700 Chesterfield Parkway West, Chesterfield, MO 63017. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm; additional details provided during interview.

Requirement: Previous janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Pay Rate: $17.75 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: The Floor Technician is responsible for maintaining, restoring floors, and operating industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance principles and procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and buffing.
• Operate various industrial floor care equipment.
• Use automated equipment for large floor surface cleaning.
• Perform carpet and upholstery care, including shampooing, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Conduct maintenance and restorative processes for all floor types.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or similar role preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs frequently.
