Compass Group USA, through TouchPoint Support Services, is hiring a Floor Technician at Ascension St Elizabeth Hospital in Appleton, WI. This full-time role supports floor maintenance, restoration, and operation of industrial floor care equipment.

The position requires prior floor care experience, knowledge of floor care equipment, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The schedule includes rotating weekends with differential pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous floor care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of hard-surface floor maintenance and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Uses automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs carpet and upholstery cleaning including shampooing, damp surfaces, extractions, spot cleaning, and vacuuming.
• Performs maintenance and restoration for all floor surface types.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

• We are hiring immediately for full time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.
• Address: Ascension St Elizabeth Hospital - 1506 South Oneida Street, Appleton, WI 54915. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time schedule. 6:00 am to 2:30 pm and 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm, days may vary; rotating weekends. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous floor care experience required.
• Perks: Weekend shift differential and a $1.25 differential for second shift!
• Pay Range: $17.00 per hour to$18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary:Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

Essential Functions:

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
