Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Floor Technician at MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas to perform floor maintenance, restoration, and operate industrial floor care equipment. This role may be full-time or part-time and involves shifts on Sundays through Saturdays with hours that vary.

The ideal candidate has prior floor care experience or related work, knowledge of floor care techniques, and the ability to follow safety procedures; lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or in related role preferred
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques required
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of principles of hard-surface floor maintenance and use proper procedures on hard floor care including stripping and refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing
• Operate various types of industrial floor care equipment
• Utilize automated equipment for cleaning of large area of floor surface
• Use the proper procedures on carpet and upholstering including shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming, etc.
• Perform maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types
• Other duties as assigned by manager

FLOOR TECHNCIAN (FULL TIME AND PART TIME)

• We are hiring immediately for full time and part time FLOOR TECHNICIAN positions.
• Address: MyMichigan Medical Center Tawas - 200 Hemlock Road, Tawas City, MI 48763. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full time and part time schedules. Sunday through Saturday, hours may vary. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous related experience is a plus.
• Pay Range: $16.00 per hour to$19.00 per hour.
