Job summary

Aramark in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Floor Technician for Baylor Scott and White Medical Center Round Rock. The role focuses on floor maintenance, restoration, and operating industrial floor care equipment on assigned shifts.

Shifts are 6:00am-2:30pm or 4:00pm-12:30am with rotating weekends. The ideal candidate has prior floor care experience and the ability to read, write, and perform basic math; physical work is required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role.
• Ability to read and write to facilitate communication and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers.
• Anticipates and responds to customer needs.
• Uses proper procedures on hard floor care (stripping & refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing).
• Uses proper procedures on carpet and upholstery (shampooing, damp surface, extractions, spot cleaning, vacuuming).
• Operates industrial floor care equipment as assigned and according to schedule.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types.
• Follows safety, sanitation, and infection control standards and wears PPE.
