Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is seeking a Floor Technician for public spaces. The role involves operating floor care equipment, stripping and waxing floors, carpet cleaning, marble polishing, and upholstery cleaning in a fast-paced casino environment.

You will work under supervision, ensure safety, and assist in training new staff. This position requires the ability to lift, push carts, and handle cleaning chemicals while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals is preferred.
• Experience in deep cleaning upholstery, carpet care, and waxing floors is preferred.
• Must possess outstanding guest service skills and be detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers, burnishing machines, carpet extractors and vacuums.
• Perform floor stripping, waxing, carpet cleaning, shampooing, marble cleaning and polishing, upholstery cleaning.
• Move tables and chairs as needed to complete floor care tasks and coordinate with team.

The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.* Employee will be frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch.
