The community you’ll be caring for: AdventHealth North Pinellas

The role you’ll contribute:

• Perform daily cleaning using the 10-step process of assigned areas.
• Conduct project cleaning of walls, lights, entrances, common areas, windows, vents, sidewalks, etc., as assigned.
• Transport soiled linen and waste in accordance with department and hospital policies.
• Assist in cleanup of emergency spills as requested or observed.
• Perform mopping, burnishing, and general floor care for carpeted and hard surfaces.
• Maintain areas of responsibility to high standards set by the department and hospital.
• Adhere to all policies and procedures set by the hospital and department.
• Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships.
• Transport hazardous waste from the point of generation to secure storage, with proper training.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent and 1+ years of experience.
• One year of floor care experience preferred.
