Summary:
Provides high-quality, timely, safe, and professional cleaning of assigned areas. Maintains the highest quality appearance of all floors in the building. Communicates effectively with internal and external customers to meet our mission of providing a clean and safe environment and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include prompt and safe removal of waste, soiled linen, upholstery cleaning, and assisting with room set-ups and break-downs.

Responsibilities:
Serves patients, families, staff, and other departments. Maintains a positive, courteous, and helpful attitude in all interactions, projecting a professional image of the department and hospital.

Qualifications

Education Requirements: None required.

Professional Experience: Minimum 6 months of previous experience in floor care preferred.

Licensure/Certification: Certificate of completion in Hospitality Training.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Demonstrates outstanding qualities in all areas of performance with consistent inspection grades of 90% or higher.

Work Environment: Exposure to cleaning agents, chemicals, and water. May involve contact with infections, contagious, and blood-borne diseases. Subject to interruptions, emergencies, and unpredictable situations.

Physical Requirements: Standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling linen, carts, and boxes daily.
