Job summary

Accolade Healthcare is seeking a Floor Technician to join the Maintenance and Housekeeping team. You will clean and maintain floor surfaces through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and waxing, with occasional carpet, window, and wall cleaning.

Training is available for the right candidate; prior janitorial experience and familiarity with cleaning products and equipment are preferred. This is an on-site role offering competitive benefits and regular pay.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience is required.
• High School Diploma or GED (preferred).
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Sweeping and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Stripping, buffing, and waxing floor surfaces.
• Cleaning and shampooing carpets to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Light cleaning of windows and walls.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure readiness and effectiveness.
• Following workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support housekeeping and maintenance operations.

Job Summary

As a Floor Technician at Accolade Healthcare, you will be a key member of the Maintenance and Housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the facility’s floor surfaces. Your duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and waxing floors, with occasional responsibilities for cleaning carpets, windows, and walls. While training is available for the right candidate, prior janitorial experience and familiarity with cleaning products and equipment are preferred.

Pay Rate

Pay Rate: $16-$18 per hour

• The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds safely and efficiently.
