Job summary

Daily duties include floor stripping and waxing, buffing, heavy duty carpet cleaning, trash removal, and light housekeeping tasks across offices, public areas, halls and lobbies; the role requires resilience in a fast-paced hospital environment and adherence to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

Cleans and maintains a wide variety of floors using specialized professional cleaning methods appropriate to the situation.

Job Responsibilities

• Identifies and maintains floor care projects.
• Completes such specialized cleaning tasks as floor stripping and waxing, floor buffing, and heavy duty carpet cleaning, etc.
• Works around harsh chemicals, strippers, wax, baseboard cleaners, etc.
• Removes trash from various departments and dispose of them in appropriate areas.
• May clean, stock, sweep, mop, sanitize or vacuum offices, public areas, hallways, stairs, lobbies, closets, copy rooms or other work areas as assigned.
• May assist in housekeeping.
