Job summary

Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Floor Tech to help keep our facility clean, safe, and welcoming for patients and families. You’ll perform cleaning tasks across floors and entryways, including damp and wet mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restocking supplies under the supervision of the Environmental Services Manager.

Qualifications

• Education: High School graduate or G.E.D. preferred.
• Working Knowledge: Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Essential Technical / Motor Skills: Must be able to perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned area and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas and maintain a safe, sanitary environment.
• Perform damp dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and window washing.
• Restock paper supplies and maintain carts/equipment in clean condition.
• Report to Environmental Services Manager and follow hospital standards.

Responsibilities

The OHH Floor Tech creates a clean and safe environment, and enhances the appearance of the facility. Cleans designated and assigned areas. Procedures include damp dusting horizontal surfaces, vents, trash removal, cleaning/scouring sinks and stools, dry and wet mopping hard surfaced floors, vacuuming carpeting and upholstery, and washing windows, door frames and other vertical surfaces. Stocks paper items as designated, maintains cart and equipment in contained, clean, and working condition. Reports directly to the Environmental Services Manager. Performs all work in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of OHH.

Qualifications

Education: High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred
