Job summary

Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Floor Tech to maintain a clean, safe environment across our facility. You will perform routine cleaning in patient areas, corridors, and support spaces, following established procedures and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
• Must be able to perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned area and in accordance with schedules.

Responsibilities

• Clean and safe environment; clean designated areas as assigned.
• Damp dusting of horizontal surfaces, vents, and fixtures.
• Trash removal; cleaning/scouring sinks and stools.
• Dry and wet mopping of hard floors; vacuuming carpeting and upholstery.
• Stock paper items; maintain carts and equipment in clean, working condition.

The OHH Floor Tech creates a clean and safe environment, and enhances the appearance of the facility. Cleans designated and assigned areas. Procedures include damp dusting horizontal surfaces, vents, trash removal, cleaning/scouring sinks and stools, dry and wet mopping hard surfaced floors, vacuuming carpeting and upholstery, and washing windows, door frames and other vertical surfaces. Stocks paper items as designated, maintains cart and equipment in contained, clean, and working condition. Reports directly to the Environmental Services Manager. Performs all work in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of OHH.

Education: High School graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred

Working Knowledge: Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting preferred.

Essential Technical / Motor Skills: Must be able to perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties in assigned area and in accordance with schedules; maintains a high level of cleanliness at all times according to established procedures.
