Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation in North Carolina is seeking a Floor Technician to join our environmental services team. The role supports housekeeping and laundry to maintain a clean, safe environment for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities include trash removal, floor cleaning, stripping and waxing qualifying surfaces, assisting with resident moves and discharge cleaning, and flexibility to float to other duties as needed by the Environmental Services Director.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience preferred.
• Customer service oriented with ability to communicate at all levels.
• Strong attention to detail.

Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Floor Technician to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

The Floor Tech works with the Housekeeping and Laundry team to provide a clean environment for all customers residing in and visiting our facility. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Taking out the trash
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing various floor surfaces
• Stripping and waxing qualifying floor surfaces
• Cross-training in Housekeeping and Laundry should the need to float arise
• Assist with room moves of residents
• Assist with discharge cleaning of residents rooms, which would include boxing of items and moving furniture
• Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
• Minimal maintenance responsibilities in case of an emergency or need arises

Qualifications:

• 1 year of experience (preferred)
• Customer service oriented, ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, flexible and dependable
