Job summary

SanStone Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Floor Technician for Saturday and Sunday shifts at Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation. The role collaborates with Housekeeping and Laundry to maintain a clean environment for residents and visitors, including room moves and discharge cleaning.

Responsibilities include general cleaning, trash removal, floor care, and light maintenance. Prior experience is preferred, with a focus on customer service, accuracy, and reliability in a team setting.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience (preferred)
• Customer service oriented, ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, flexible and dependable

Responsibilities

• Take out the trash
• Sweep, mop, scrub various floor surfaces
• Strip and wax qualifying floor surfaces
• Cross-train in Housekeeping and Laundry to float if needed
• Assist with room moves of residents
• Assist with discharge cleaning of residents rooms, including boxing of items and moving furniture
• Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
• Minimal maintenance responsibilities in case of an emergency or need arises

Saturday and Sunday Position

Elizabeth City Health and Rehabilitation is currently seeking a Floor Technician to join our team of dedicated health care professionals.

The Floor Tech works with the Housekeeping and Laundry team to provide a clean environment for all customers residing in and visiting our facility. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Taking out the trash

• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing various floor surfaces

• Stripping and waxing qualifying floor surfaces

• Cross-training in Housekeeping and Laundry should the need to float arise

• Assist with room moves of residents

• Assist with discharge cleaning of residents rooms, which would include boxing of items and moving furniture

• Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director

• Minimal maintenance responsibilities in case of an emergency or need arises
