Margate Health & Rehabilitation in Jefferson, NC is seeking a full-time Floor Technician to join our environmental services team. You will help maintain a clean, safe facility for residents and visitors.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail, with responsibilities such as trash removal, floor care, and assist with room moves or discharge cleaning as needed.

Qualificações

• 1 year of experience (preferred).
• Customer service oriented, ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, flexible and dependable.

Responsabilidades

• Taking out the trash
• Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing various floor surfaces
• Stripping and waxing qualifying floor surfaces
• Cross-training in Housekeeping and Laundry should the need to float arise
• Assist with room moves of residents
• Assist with discharge cleaning of residents' rooms, which would include boxing of items and moving furniture
• Other duties as assigned by the Environmental Services Director
• Minimal maintenance responsibilities in case of an emergency or need arises

The Floor Tech works with the Housekeeping and Laundry team to provide a clean environment for all customers residing in and visiting our facility. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Taking out the trash
