Floor Technician

STGi is seeking a Floor Technician to provide services to our Georgia War Veterans Home.

Job Summary:

Maintain or restore floors in highly trafficked areas.

Essential Functions:

• Clean, maintain, and restore floor surfaces.
• Sanitize highly-trafficked spaces, which may contain biohazardous waste.
• Even the gloss, polish, or sealant coating on surfaces with a cloth or specialized buffing tool.
• Utilize industrial or commercial-grade cleaning products or equipment.

Required Skills:

• Work in all areas of the facility.
• Move intermittently during working hours.
• Handle interactions with residents, family members, personnel, and visitors, including potentially hostile or emotionally upset individuals.
• Communicate effectively with maintenance and other facility personnel.
• Work beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Handle and be exposed to hazardous chemicals safely.

Required Experience:
