Job summary

Allegiance Industries is hiring a Night Shift Floor Technician in Mentor, OH. You will perform floor care tasks including stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning, with on-the-job training provided. The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and the ability to follow directions from supervision.

Shift runs Monday–Friday 5 PM–1:30 AM with weekends as needed; reporting to the facility team. Application email provided for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience including stripping, waxing and carpet cleaning.
• Physical stamina and dexterity.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with appropriate staff.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets.
• Strip floors using proper machinery.
• Apply wax to floors and buff.
• Apply sealant to floors.
• Deep clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals/degreasers.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum floors and clean surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture.
• Other duties as assigned.
