Job summary

Allegiance Industries in Atlanta, GA is seeking a 2nd Shift Floor Technician for education facilities. The role includes steam-cleaning carpets, stripping floors, applying wax and sealant, buffing, deep cleaning painted floors, and general surface cleaning.

Requirements include physical stamina, ability to detect safety hazards, reliable transportation, and the ability to follow schedules and supervisor directions. On-the-job training provided; shift is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Prior floor care experience is required.
• Must have physical stamina and dexterity.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and communicate with staff.
• Reliable transportation and ability to follow schedules.
• Ability to follow directions from a supervisor and uphold professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets.
• Strip floors using proper machinery.
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
• Apply sealant to floors.
• Deep clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals/degreasers.
• Clean buildings by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming floors and other surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture.
• Other duties as assigned.
