Job summary

Allegiance-Industries is hiring a Floor Technician in Newport News, VA. The role involves performing a range of floor care tasks during the night shift, including steam-cleaning carpets, stripping and waxing floors, sealing surfaces, and deep cleaning painted floors with appropriate chemicals.

• Prior floor care experience is required.
• Must have forklift experience.
• Physical stamina and dexterity are essential.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and report them.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality are expected.

Responsibilities

• Steam-clean carpets.
• Strip floors with proper equipment.
• Apply wax to coat floors and buff.
• Apply sealant to floors.
• Deep clean painted floors using appropriate chemicals/degreasers.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean other surfaces.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Move heavy equipment and furniture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
