Job summary

Join our team at Mt Holly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Floor Technician. This full-time position requires flexibility, working day and evening shifts with every other weekend. You'll ensure cleanliness and safety, reflecting our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Floor Technician or in a related environmental services role preferred.
• Working knowledge of floor care equipment, chemicals, and maintenance techniques preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and use appropriate precautions due to physical and environmental risks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and appearance.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform proper floor care procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operate industrial floor care equipment safely and effectively.
• Clean and maintain carpeted and upholstered surfaces using appropriate methods.
• Perform routine maintenance and restorative care for all floor types.
• Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines.
• Properly collect and dispose of municipal solid waste and infectious waste.
• Report any maintenance, safety hazards, or equipment issues.
• Support overall housekeeping and environmental services operations as needed.

Join our team at Mt Holly Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Floor Technician.

Full-time Day and Evenings. Must work every other weekend and be flexible if dayshift needed.

Same Day Pay!

Range: $15.92/hr. - $19.50/hr. (All inclusive)

Responsibilities for Floor Technician:

• Perform proper floor care procedures, including stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing of hard surface floors.

• Operate industrial floor care equipment safely and effectively to clean and maintain all types of floor surfaces.

• Clean and maintain carpeted and upholstered surfaces using appropriate methods, including shampooing, vacuuming, spot cleaning, damp cleaning, and extraction.

• Perform routine maintenance and restorative care for all floor types to ensure a clean, safe, and polished appearance throughout the facility.

• Follow all safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory requirements while performing duties.

• Properly collect, handle, and dispose of municipal solid waste, infectious waste, and pharmaceutical waste in accordance with facility and regulatory standards.

• Report any maintenance, safety hazards, or equipment issues promptly to supervisory staff.

• Support overall housekeeping and environmental services operations as needed to maintain a clean and welcoming environment.
