Job summary

Sentara RMH Health is hiring a Floor Technician for a full-time day shift in Harrisonburg, VA. The role focuses on floor maintenance including mopping, scrubbing, stripping and polishing, with attention to safe chemical use.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or Equivalent and about 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience; healthcare hospitality experience is a plus. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, and education support.

City/State Harrisonburg, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Rockingham Memorial Hospital is hiring a Floor Technician - FT Day schedule The incumbent is responsible for maintenance of floors. They practice safe work habits through the appropriate use of chemicals, various equipment and cleaning applications to include: mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping and polishing. Cross trained to EST I competencies in order to provide cleaning duties when necessary. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent (Required) 1 year of housekeeping/ESD experience required in lieu of High School Education Certification/Licensure No specific certification or licensure requirements Experience Environmental Associate - 1 year (Required) Healthcare/Hospitality previous experience (Preferred) Talroo - Allied Health, floor maintenance, cleaning, housekeeping, custodian, janitor We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $18.08 - $26.26 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities. Compensation within the range may vary based on qualifications, experience, location, market conditions, and business needs.
