Job summary

Lynn Haven Health and Rehabilitation in Gray, GA is seeking a dedicated housekeeper to support daily operations at our long-term care facility. Duties include floor finishing, carpet shampooing, wall washing, and general cleaning to maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents.

The successful candidate will perform light cleaning tasks such as dusting, sweeping, damp mopping, and trash removal, and collaborate with staff to uphold our standards.

Qualifications

• Be a high school graduate or its equivalent.

• Possess ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy cleaning duties for a long-term care nursing center, including stripping and applying new floor finish.
• Shampoo carpets, wash walls, and perform other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Handle light cleaning: dusting, sweeping, damp mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Keep equipment clean and in proper operating condition.

• Performs heavy cleaning duties for a long-term care nursing center such as;
• stripping old finish and applying new finish to floors
• shampooing carpet
• washing walls
• Performs light cleaning duties such as;
  • dusting, sweeping, and damp mopping floors

  • mopping
  • Collects and removes trash from assigned area
  • Keeps equipment clean and in proper operating condition.
