Job summary

Ethica Health in Georgia is hiring a full-time janitorial associate for a long-term care nursing center. You will perform heavy cleaning duties (floor stripping, shampooing carpet, floor buffing, washing walls) and light cleaning (dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal) with attention to safety and sanitation.

Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent, able to communicate effectively in writing and speech, and able to maintain good relations with patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
• Capable of maintaining effective working relationships with patients, families, department heads, and fellow associates.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy cleaning duties for a long-term care nursing center, including stripping floors, shampooing carpet, operating floor buffing machines, and washing walls.
• Perform light cleaning duties such as dusting, sweeping, damp mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, collecting and removing trash, and keeping equipment clean and in proper operating condition.

  • shampooing carpet
  • operating floor buffing machines
  • washing walls
• Performs light cleaning duties such as;
  • dusting, sweeping, and damp mopping floors
  • vacuuming carpet
  • mopping
  • Collects and removes trash from assigned area
  • Keeps equipment clean and in proper operating condition.
