Job summary

Fundamental in Lancaster, SC is seeking a Floor Technician to help keep our facility floors safe and clean for patients and families.

You will perform routine cleaning, ensure safety during operations, and support additional duties as assigned. A high school diploma and English fluency are required; carpet and vinyl plank experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be fluent in English (speaking, understanding, writing).
• 1–2 years of carpet and vinyl plank experience preferred.
• Previous Floor Technician experience in long term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains flooring throughout the facility.
• Ensures safety for residents and staff while flooring is being cleaned.
• May perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Job description

The Floor Technician plays a key role in ensuring that our flooring throughout the facility is well maintained and free of any safety hazards for our patients and their families while they are in our care.

Posted Salary Range

USD $14.00 - USD $16.00 /Hr.

Wage Commensuration

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, education and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains flooring throughout the facility.
• Ensures that safety measures are taken for residents and employees while flooring is being cleaned.
• May perform other duties as assigned by their supervisor.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must possess, as a minimum, High School Diploma or equivalent G.E.D.
• Must be able to speak, understand, and write in fluent English.
• Candidates with 1-2 years of experience in Carpet and Vinyl Plank preferred.
• Previous Floor Technician experience in long term care preferred.
• Reliable transportation required.
