Job summary

DLP Services is seeking a part-time Floor Technician to service various sites in the Del Rio, TX area. The role involves cleaning and maintaining floors under the supervision of Custodial Supervisor and/or Sr. Operations Manager.

Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, stripping and waxing floors, and keeping equipment in good working order. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma, at least 1 year in floor care/janitorial, and the ability to follow directions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1+ year experience in floor care and janitorial work.
• Familiarity with floor care equipment listed (buffer, extractor, vac, pressure washer, scrubber).

Responsibilities

DLP Services is one of the fastest-growing commercial cleaning companies in the United States. We are currently looking for an experienced Floor Technician / Custodian to service various sites in your area.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities through a variety of floor care tasks. This role requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for maintaining a clean and safe environment. Will work under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor and/or Sr. Operations Manager to perform the day-to-day and periodic cleaning in assigned work areas, as specified by the contract.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sweeping
• Mopping
• Strip and wax floors
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working conditions.
• Assists other facility staff as requested.

SAFETY

• Works safely always and promptly informs management about unsafe conditions.
• Wears personal protective equipment appropriate for the task being performed.
• Adheres to proper security procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma
• Minimum 1-year experience in floor care and Janitorial
• Knowledge of operating various pieces of equipment necessary to effectively perform job functions, such as high-speed buffer, extractor, wet vac, pressure washer, and auto scrubber.
• Ability to understand and follow directions from immediate supervisor.
