River Oaks Healthcare Center, a member of the CommuniCare Family of Companies, is currently recruiting for a Full Time Floor Tech.

Rate: $13.00 per hour

Shifts Available: Day and Afternoon

Purpose/Belief Statement:

The Laundry Aide position exists to support environmental services for residents, ensuring the highest quality of resident care. The role requires effective teamwork to complete tasks in a timely, organized, and safe manner, focusing on quality resident care and resource management.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Follow the daily laundering schedule.
• Collect all laundry items, including residents’ personal articles.
• Operate washing and drying machines.
• Manage stock by checking, pulling, and storing items.
• Organize storage areas for supplies and stock.
• Tag personal articles for residents as needed.
• Periodically clean washing and drying machine filters.
• Create a safe, clean, and comfortable environment, delivering high-quality service.
• Participate in training, education, and orientation programs.
• Perform other related activities as assigned.
• Adhere to departmental, center, and corporate policies, quality improvement, safety, environmental, and infection control standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
