Job summary

3Point Cleaning is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician in Bangor, ME, for weekend and extended shifts. Base pay is $22.00–$26.00 per hour, with travel time paid and a company vehicle provided.

You will strip and wax VCT flooring, operate carpet extractors, and handle janitorial duties outside regular hours. The role requires experience in floor care across commercial settings, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
• Carpet extraction and waxing are required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.
• Operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaning machines.
• Conduct inspections of flooring to identify areas needing repair or special attention.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.

Paid travel time and company vehicle provided
Must have experience Stripping & Waxing VCT flooring, using Carpet Extractors
*Most work needs to be completed outside of regular business hours. Which is why it is longer weekend shifts and shorter shifts after work Monday - Wednesday

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Technician to work on carpet and flooring projects over the weekends, as well as cover call outs for regular cleaning shifts as needed.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various flooring types in commercial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of floor care techniques and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Covering shifts will consist of regular janitorial duties - sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning surfaces, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
