Job summary

3Point Cleaning is seeking a dedicated Floor Technician to perform weekend and call-out janitorial duties in commercial settings. The role requires stripping and waxing VCT flooring, carpet extraction, and operating floor-care equipment.

You will work Saturday to Wednesday, with longer weekend shifts and shorter shifts Monday to Wednesday, and you may cover regular cleaning shifts as needed. A positive, team-focused attitude and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or custodial services.
Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation.
Stripping & Waxing VCT.
Ability to perform buffing and carpet cleaning effectively.
Carpet Extraction.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
Capability to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of floors, including sweeping, mopping, and buffing.
Operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaning machines.
Conduct inspections of flooring to identify areas needing repair or special attention.
Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness in storage areas for cleaning supplies and equipment.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with other staff members to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met.
