Job summary

LACOSTA Facility Support Services is hiring a Floor Technician for the Lafayette, IN location. The role involves maintaining floor appearance across hardwood and carpeted areas, leading a team, and performing stripping and waxing tasks.

LACOSTA is looking for a Floor Technician to join our team in Lafayette, IN!

***We conduct a background check and drug testing***

Job Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 40hrs/week (Full Time)

2nd Shift: 3PM-11:30PM

Job Duties:

Maintaining an outstanding appearance to all floors (hard wood and carpet) throughout the facility.

• Lead assigned team members
• Stripping
• Waxing
• Sweeping/Mopping
• Carpet spot removal
• Use of machines and hand tools

Requirements:

• Supervisor or leadership experience
• 2+ years experience stripping/waxing
• Pass background check and drug screening
• Comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment, as well as safe use of cleaning chemicals.
• Must be comfortable wearing PPE: LACOSTA shirt, steel-toed boots/shoes, safety glasses, ear plugs, gloves, and long pants.
• Must remove all jewelry and accessories.
