A healthcare services provider is looking for a Floor Technician in Flower Mound, TX. This entry-level, full-time position involves performing scheduled floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, dusting, and vacuuming carpets. The technician will maintain floor surfaces, utilize proper chemicals and equipment, and report maintenance needs as necessary. Qualifications

• Experience in Floor Care.
• Experience in institutional housekeeping is helpful.
• Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all floor surfaces.
• Buff, wax, strip, and top scrub floors.
• Extract and vacuum carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Utilize proper chemicals and equipment.
• Report repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate.
• Request needed supplies and equipment from Supervisor.
• Identify and correct safety hazards and abide by safety rules.
• Review Cantex Continuing Care Network Policy and Procedures for Abuse Prevention and enforce it.
• Attend weekly in-services, understand, and comply with Patient Care Management Systems.
• Assure patient/resident safety.
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned.

This position may also mop, sweep, dust, wash windows, shampoo and vacuum carpets, arrange furniture, etc. and generally clean furniture, equipment, fixtures and hardware.
