Job summary

The Oshman Family Jewish Community Center (OFJCC) in Silicon Valley is seeking part-time janitorial team members to keep our campus sparkling and safe. Pay is $21/hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays, PTO, a 403(b) plan and a free membership at our award-winning fitness center.

Core duties include dusting, mopping, moving equipment, pressure washing surfaces, waste removal, and preventing hazards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to use a computer and email.
• Ability to multi-task and establish priorities.

Responsibilities

• Keeping our campus sparkling and safe.
• Dusting and mopping floors.
• Moving equipment and furniture for cleaning purposes.
• Provide cleaning and preventative maintenance including pressure washing surfaces.
• Handling and disposing of trash and recyclables.
• Responding to routine facility needs and requests.
