Job summary

CleanPower, Marsden Holding Company, is seeking a full-time cleaning technician for its facilities services team in Madison, WI. You will perform construction clean and final cleaning of newly built or remodeled spaces to readiness for tenant occupancy.

This role requires attention to safety, ability to lift heavy items, and willingness to travel with the crew to other cities as needed. Shift is evenings, M-F 4:30pm to 1:00am, with a starting hourly rate of $21.00.

Qualifications

• You must be 18 years old.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check required.
• Valid driver's license and pass driving background.

Responsibilities

• Strip and refinish hard surface floors using floor machines and supplies.
• Scrub and refinish various hard surfaces with floor care equipment.
• Scrub concrete floors with autoscrubber and related equipment.
• Scrub ceramic, marble, terrazzo, or other floors with appropriate equipment.
• Carpet extraction using carpet care equipment.
• Dry foam carpeting with a dry foam machine.
• Bonnet clean using swing machine and Bonnets.
• Clean upholstered furniture with CFR equipment.

Shift: M-F 4/4:30pm to 1:00am (Full time)

Hourly Rate: $21.00

Location: Main office in Madison WI but will travel with the crew to other cities if needed.

Requirements

• You must be 18 years old.
• A pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check are required.
• Valid driver's license and pass driving background
• Must be able to follow and understand all manufacture labels and directions on any and all chemicals/products used by the Specialty Services Department.
• Construction Clean/Final Clean newly constructed/remodeled structures as to allow tenant occupancy.
• Heavy lifting is required while completing work in the Specialty Services Department. There will be other employees present to assist with any of the lifting as to allow for the furniture and other items to be removed and or replaced safely.
• Must complete all paperwork related to job orders and work orders assigned each day and bring any and all safety related issues up to your lead person and or manager immediately.
• Perform any and all other duties assigned related to the Specialty Services Division.

Job Duties

As you might expect, cleaning is at the heart of what your job will entail. For the most part, you'll be performing the following duties:

• Strip and refinish hard surface floors using low speed swing machine, wet vacuum and other floor related equipment and supplies.
• Scrub and refinish hard surface floors using using low speed swing machine, wet vacuum and other floor related equipment and supplies.
• Scrub concrete floors using low speed swing machine, autoscrubber, rider sweeper scrubber and other floor related equipment and supplies.
• Scrub ceramic, marble, terrazzo, and/or other specialized flooring using low speed swing machine, wet vacuum and other floor related equipment and supplies.
• Carpet extraction using self-contained carpet extractors, minispotters and other carpet care related equipment and supplies.
• Dry foam carpeting using a Taski Ergo disk dry foam machine.
• Bonnet clean using low speed swing machine, bonnets and other related equipment and supplies.
• CFR carpet and upholstered furniture using CRF wet extraction equipment and CFR supplies.
