Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Floor Tech in New Stanton, PA. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and sanitation of assigned areas and directing custodial staff. This position requires a high school diploma and at least one year of related experience.

The role offers a compensation range of $16 to $17 per hour with a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm. SBM provides comprehensive benefits for its employees.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma / GED required. At least 1-year related experience.
  • CPR/AED/First Aid certification may be required.
  • May need a valid driver’s license and forklift certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
  • Provide work direction and assistance to custodians.
  • Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
  • Track equipment and supply inventory.
  • Perform quality and safety inspections.

Job Overview

The Custodial Lead will be responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff.

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
  • Provide work direction and assistance to custodians as directed by Custodial Supervisor
  • Assist Custodial Supervisor in scheduling and training staff as needed
  • Operate motorized cleaning equipment
  • Track equipment inventory, maintenance, and repair
  • Schedule clean up and repairs as needed
  • Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
  • Track and maintain supply inventory
  • Assist Custodial Supervisor in purchasing cleaning supplies and equipment
  • Perform quality, service, and safety inspections
  • Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
  • Report employee personnel and customer issues to supervisor
  • Monitor employees for proper use of personal protective equipment, and supplies
  • Correct at risk behavior and report to the supervisor immediately
  • Provide recommendations for corrective action on areas that need improvement
Qualifications
  • Education and/ or Experience: High school diploma / GED required. At least 1-year related experience.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: CPR/AED/First Aid certification. May be required to have a valid driver’s license. Completed all safety and task training certification. May be required to be forklift certified.
  • Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities: Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents; strong verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with team; knowledge of cleaning equipment upkeep; knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use.
