Job summary

Ashford Gardens in Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Floor Technician for 11am-7pm. The role performs scheduled floor care tasks, mopping, dusting, carpet care, and related housekeeping duties under the supervision of Housekeeping. Prior floor-care experience is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in floor care.
• Experience in institutional housekeeping is helpful.
• Experience in the use of floor-care equipment is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Maintains all floor surfaces.
• Buffs and waxes floors, strips and waxes floors, top scrubs and waxes floors.
• Extracts and vacuums carpets as directed by Supervisor.
• Reports repair needs to Supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate.
• Identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules.
• Attends weekly in-services, understands, and complies with Patient Care Management Systems.

Ashford Gardens is currently hiring a full-time Floor Tech 11am-7pm.Please visit cantexcc.com for more information on this location.Job Summary:The overall purpose of the Floor Technician position is to perform scheduled floor care tasks as may be assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
