Job Overview

Ashley Furniture HomeStore, the #1 Mattress and Furniture retailer in North America, is seeking a Floor Support – Retail Merchandise Handler. The role involves organizing the showroom floor, moving furniture as directed by the Visual Presentation Manager, loading and unloading customer purchases, receiving shipments, and assembling furniture.

Key Responsibilities

• Place furniture on the showroom floor as specified by the VPM.
• Load and unload customer purchases.
• Receive and assemble furniture from shipments.
• Organize the showroom and maintain the back room storage area.
• Complete inventory paperwork.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs.
• Adhere to all safety practices and rules.
• Perform light housekeeping and janitorial duties.
• Other duties as assigned.
