GAGE Cannabis Store Associate - Key Holder (Part-Time)

Position Overview

This role assists store management in achieving store objectives, increasing revenue, and enhancing customer loyalty. The ideal candidate is versatile within the store, responsible, reliable, and demonstrates strong leadership. This key holder position is critical during emergencies, such as a COVID-19 outbreak, to support store management.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand constantly
  • Walk frequently
  • Reach and twist/turn with hands and arms
  • Climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
  • Frequently lift/move up to 20 pounds
  • Occasionally lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus
Responsibilities
  • Assist store manager in daily objectives
  • Oversee cash functions, including opening and closing procedures
  • Make confident and assertive decisions, potentially as the sole lead
  • Monitor and encourage team members to meet service standards
  • Address customer concerns proactively
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Promote a positive work environment and team morale
  • Train new team members and coach on KPIs and sales goals
Qualifications
  • Must be 21 or older and pass a background check
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 0-2 years retail experience; key holder experience preferred
  • Trustworthy with confidential information
  • Minimum two years retail customer service experience
  • Knowledge of cannabis products from regulated retail or medical distribution is preferred
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Reliable transportation, clean driving record, and willingness to support neighboring stores as needed
  • Comfortable following COVID-19 precautions
