PART TIME FLOOR SUPERVISOR

REPORTS TO: Store Manager

SUMMARY: The Floor Supervisor’s primary function is to assist and support the Store and Assistant Manager in all aspects of the store, including personnel, product, merchandising, visual functions, business processes, and results. Assist management with recruiting, training, and development of associates.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Direct and motivate the store team to provide excellent service, generate sales and profit, minimize losses, and ensure the store is visually appealing and well-maintained.
  • Maximize Associate productivity, ensure compliance with company standards and policies, and create a results-driven environment.
  • Assist in developing associates through feedback, coaching, and training.
  • Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures.
  • Manage time and prioritize tasks.

Managerial Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales by ensuring the TH Customer Service program is executed to standard and merchandise styles and sizes are well represented.
  • Assist with training, developing, and executing S.G.M. and TH Customer Service.
  • Communicate statistical results and identify business needs.
  • Share performance results and key indicators with the team to support service and sales goals.
  • Assist with training, monitoring, and executing replenishment and recovery processes.
  • Recognize problems, analyze causes, and generate solutions.
  • Represent the TH image through personal and professional appearance.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with all company policies, procedures, and operations.
  • Handle shipments and transfers.
  • Follow Inventory Shrinkage Improvement Program.
  • Ensure the store has necessary tools and knowledge on how to use them.
  • Maintain security and safety standards.
  • Handle store opening and closing procedures.
  • Able to lift at least 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Work with management to source and recruit talent, conduct interviews, and onboard new hires.
  • Help develop associates’ product and sales knowledge.
  • Create energy and recognition around team achievements.
  • Participate in management and staff meetings.
  • Adapt schedules to meet store needs, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Lead by example and foster teamwork.

Merchandising & Visual Responsibilities

  • Make business decisions based on current sell-through strategies.
  • Maintain high store presentation standards.
  • Inform management of merchandise and visual issues.
  • Execute markdowns and re-merchandising as needed.
  • Keep fixtures, hardware, and store clean and organized.
