Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.
• Ability to stand on hard surface for most of shift.

Responsibilities

• Follow all GMPs throughout the day.
• Rinse, sanitize, and assist USDA with any sanitation problems, filling footbaths and sinks.
• Maintain neat, clean environment of floors and breaking machines in breaking room.
• Coordinate lunch time, spray down and cleanup to meet USDA specifications.
• Communicate with maintenance on any machine problems throughout the day.
• Prepare and remove materials as needed and ensure safe shutdown of equipment.
