Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Floor Operator – feather side in Forest, MS to join the production team. You will monitor and operate feather room equipment on C-Shift (Days) with starting pay of $20.40 per hour base pay.

The role requires inspecting floor equipment, performing basic maintenance, reading logs, and maintaining Tyson's strict safety culture. Expect physical work, exposure to heat/cold, and opportunities to advance within production.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum 6 months' work history with one employer within the past 12 months.
• Prefer 3 consecutive months Operator experience within last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect floor equipment and make adjustments as needed.
• Monitor and operate feather room equipment including conveyors and detectors.
• Read and complete required logs and communicate with supervisor by radio.
• Operate frontend loader or forklift if certified when required.
